I have recently found a very interesting blog! It is called Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge… To make cards inspired by a film, isn’t it great? Last Saturday, I visited the blog to find an assignment I just could not pass by. The task was to make a card under inspiration of the movie Sense and Sensibility based on the novel by Jane Austen. To say that I like this film is to say nothing! So touching, elegant and lyrical! I love it so much! I have seen it 5 times, or so, and I can see it over and over again. I like the cast, the music, the scenery, the details of everyday life of the time, the dresses... And I like Jane Austen very much.
My favorite character is Eleanor brilliantly performed by Emma Thompson. She turned out to be just like I had imagined her from the book.
It was recommended to make the card in the clean and simple style. And I seem to have succeeded.
Here is a picture I also took my inspiration from. Just look how happy Eleanor is here! It was the color of her dress that inspired me for my card.
In my work I used a sketch posted on the blog of the ScrapChic online store.
